Temporary Shelter for those who have faced Storms of Life

Meet Pastor Mike and his family. In August of 2020, hurricane Laura brought massive devastation to the Lake Charles, Louisiana community.  Weeks prior to our arrival in Lake Charles, the vision of Campers Care was only a vision. After receiving a call from God's Pit Crew to deliver a travel trailer to Pastor Mike and his family, Campers Care soon became a reality.  What an inspiration Pastor Mike and his family was to Campers Care, when we arrived we were met with smiles, and hugs. 

In the midst of all the devastation and loss surrounding Pastor Mike and Brandi, they were handing out bottles of water and other food items to members of their community, while living from their car for 12 days and nights in the Louisiana heat and humidity, Pastor Mike and his family now had a temporary home situated on their property while they dealt with the cleanup and the rebuilding efforts. 

We would like to share Brandi's testimony with you.

"We are deeply thankful and blessed beyond measure your kindness gave my family, a home and shelter. Because of you we no longer need anything. The best kind of people come into your life and make you see the sun where there was only clouds. It was truly the most amazing moment seeing you and your husband pull into our driveway with what we now call our home. Thank you and God Bless!
